Walk Around Exhibits
When the goal of a zoo or museum is to bring the exhibit out of the wall and into the room, a walk around exhibit allows guests the ability to circumnavigate the entire display. For habitats, this is a great opportunity to feature sections of tropical tree buttresses with elaborate networks of lianas. This approach creates excellent planting opportunities, and the 360 degree aspect allows for a more realistic representation of a habitat.
We have also utilized this approach for a museum exhibit on photosynthesis– creating a living column that embraces the same fundamentals as our living walls. All of the cylindrical metalwork was fabricated in-house and custom color matched powder coated to the client's specifications, achieving a true one-of -a kind exhibit.
