  • Zac Zamora

    Free thinker, naturalist, master craftsman, and founder of Variance Design, Zac earned a BS in Zoology from the University of Texas at Austin and resides in Buda, TX. For the past 20 years, he has spearheaded the design and fabrication of permanent exhibits for reputable zoos, museums, and science centers across the country. His love of science and the natural world, combined with his obsession for experimentation, allow him to create sustainable habitats in the form of living walls, terrariums, aquariums, and all the spaces in between.

  • Cavan Carruth

    Cavan comes to Variance Design with a background in the entertainment industry. A Grammy Nominated musician, Cavan spent over a decade writing, recording, and performing across the country and abroad. His approach to finding new opportunities for growth and expansion outside the comfort of niche environments is, in part what makes him a good fit with the Variance team.

  • Natalie Zamora

    Natalie has been a part of Variance Design since its inception, wearing many hats over the years. She is currently handling the books as well as acting as our primary liaison between our clients and Variance. Natalie splits her time between caring for her family and Variance Design , while continuing her work as an occupational therapist.

  • Caleb Dowdy

    Caleb grew up in Johnson City, TX and is a recent graduate TSTC where he honed his welding skills including an advanced pipe certification. Caleb is a fabricating magician excelling in our stainless steel welding and finishing while never afraid of getting his hands dirty at whatever a day at Variance Design calls for.

  • Brian Delano

    Brian is a multipotentialite, a lifelong student of the creative arts, and a skilled maker of unique things. In his professional life he's made guitars, laser welded jewelry, refurbished high-end stereo equipment, and sculpted styrofoam. When he's not at work, he's usually making comics, writing science fiction, or producing strange electronic music.
