Our small town in the Texas Hill Country is fortunate to have a top notch science museum steps away from Variance’s design studio and fabrication shop. We have had the opportunity to contribute to their collection over the years providing everything from small living systems, large scale kinetic sculptures, and an entire hydroponics greenhouse. Our 30’ tall, articulating Colossal Robotic Hand, designed and fabricated from over 500 individual stainless steel polygons, has become a significant landmark in Johnson City, TX.
