Meet Hoja: a compact living wall with biophilic impact. It incorporates everything from our larger custom installations, and simplifies that technology into a self-contained unit that can be hung on the wall like a conventional piece of art.
Hoja is 45” tall x 45” wide x 4” deep and is fabricated from 304 stainless steel, feature our high performance spacer mesh grow fabric, a medical grade diaphragm pump, custom designed control box, and full-spectrum programmable LED lighting.

Whether you are new to vertical gardening, looking to experiment with various culinary herbs, or wanting to showcase a carefully curated selection of rare tropical plants, the Hoja Mini Wall is the perfect automated living system for your needs.
With twenty spacer mesh grow pockets (~ 3.5 SF), the Hoja Mini Wall is Variance Design’s most compact living wall, yet retains all of the same features as our larger systems. A one piece shell (fabricated in-house of 304 stainless steel) holds a medical grade diaphragm pump, custom designed control box, and full spectrum LED grow lighting by Kessil.
The Hoja Mini has a 1.75 gallon, manual-fill basin that provides approximately 10 days of programmable, intermittent irrigation. With the included stainless steel cleat, installation is as simple as hanging a picture. Several framing options are available for a custom finished look.
