FOUNDER | DESIGNER
Free thinker, naturalist, master craftsman, and founder of Variance Design, Zac earned a BS in Zoology from the University of Texas at Austin and resides in Buda, TX. For the past 15 years, he has spearheaded the design and fabrication of permanent exhibits for reputable zoos, museums, and science centers across the country. His love of science and the natural world, combined with his obsession for experimentation, allow him to create sustainable habitats in the form of living walls, terrariums, aquariums, and all the spaces in between.

DIRECTOR OF EXHIBIT SERVICES
Erich Rose has been creating engaging and accessible exhibits for 35 years. Trained as an industrial designer, Erich possesses expertise in developing and detailing both mechanical and electronic components. With an extensive background in exhibit planning, Erich will also be creating all of the technical drawings for our projects.
Cavan comes to Variance Design with a background in the entertainment industry. A Grammy Nominated musician, Cavan spent over a decade writing, recording, and performing across the country and abroad. His approach to finding new opportunities for growth and expansion outside the comfort of niche environments is, in part what makes him a good fit with the Variance team.
Natalie has been a part of Variance Design since its inception, wearing many hats over the years. She is currently handling the books as well as acting as our primary liaison between our clients and Variance. Natalie splits her time between caring for her family and Variance Design , while continuing her work as an occupational therapist.
Emmanuel comes from a construction background and is the newest member of the Variance Design Team. Experienced in all aspects of construction, Emmanuel has quickly found a niche at translating real world solutions to our often complex builds. In addition to his work on our current projects, Emmanuel keeps the Variance shop in good working order and makes sure our builds reach their destination exactly how they left the shop by building top notch crates and packing when it comes time to ship.
