RIBBIT ZIBBIT

Variance Design fabricated a variety of terrariums for the Ribbit Zibit frog conservation exhibit at the Como Park Zoo & Conservatory in St. Paul, MN. The terrariums feature Variance Design’s proprietary techniques in creating highly realistic faux rock work along with a variety of environment specific living plants providing a comfortable space for these delicate species including Red-eyed Tree Frogs, Lemur Tree Frogs, and the elusive Panamanian Golden Frog. Housed in the Leonard Wilkening Children’s Gallery, the exhibit is more than just a showcase for these colorful amphibians, but also an opportunity to educate guests on the importance of frog conservation. Variance Design included large, vibrant panels in the design providing ample space for playful and informative graphics and text. Variance Design is proud to be a part of what continues to be a featured exhibit at the park which hosts nearly two million annual visitors.
